Thanks to Netflix instant, my Saturday mornings are great. They have a bunch of classic Pink Panther. I wish they still made cartoons like this. So minimalist and simple, virtually no dialog, and absolutely gorgeous art. Pretty bold stuff, to be honest.

In product design circles, the “Braun Style” is typified by crisp geometry and no-nonsense functionality—overall a rather, well, German approach. Dietrich Lubs, along with Dieter Rams was responsible for establishing Braun as a benchmark design company from the 50s through the 90s. Braun’s decision to re-issue its collection met with the approval of Lubs, who credits the watches’ functionally-oriented designs for their continued relevance about thirty years after their initial introduction. The 2011 watches are based on the original designs with slight modifications, bringing them into the 21st century.

Those two watches above, in my opinion, are everything a watch should be. So be a doll and buy them for me, thanks. I need them.
