Pretty interesting concept from Harc Lee. By eliminating the need for inks and dyes on the can, it becomes more environmentally friendly to produce. Also, easier to recycle. However, it isn’t a perfect idea. Nutritional info (and all that other legalese) would need to be displayed. The stamped effect wouldn’t work well with smaller type.

Visually, though, I really enjoy it. My design philosophy is always about a strong and bold yet understated approach, and this meshes pretty well with that concept. While completely ignoring the environmental issues that the design tries to fix, I think it would be pretty rad to see a can like this in just single, simple, bold colors. Yellow, blue, red. It would be quite the contrast to the other products you see in your grocery store aisle.
