The morning light dances on fire and freckled shoulders, her hair strewn across the bed in careless delight, entrapping my heart all over again. She holds tight my soul, so I made her mine for all my ever.

Year of the clap ew gross this is a bad title

2014 was a rough year for Steadyclappin. I barely paid attention to it. I was like an absentee father that hoped a GIF every now and then would make up for months of neglect. Basically, I was Milhouse’s dad.

Well, no more!

Even if I’m the only one that goes to this website, which is probably a very real and very sad possibility, I am going to make Steadyclappin some sort of cool again. That means more posts, more mixtapes, and more pictures of Drake being the cable knit sweater of rap. (Love you, Drizzy!) Get your fiber, because this blog is going to be so regular.

Probably.

Elton John is an average song writer

In 1997, Richard E. Grant was all, ay yo LT Johnny, make a song outta dis right her. And my boy Elton was all, child please, gimme those microwave instructions. Finna go ham up in this.

Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes

Thom Yorke dropped a new surprise album last week. Since he’s not an idiot, he didn’t even sneak it into my computer box in a ham-fisted, tone-deaf way! But because he tries really hard, he distributed it via BitTorrent in a slightly inconvenient, catered-to-music-blog way. Fortunately for me, I happen to have a poor excuse for a (sort-of) music blog and am meagerly adept with technology, so I am all up in this album’s business and how it was distributed. Unfortunately for Thom, I find Radiohead pretty overrated in general. Do I like the album? Read on to find out! Yes.

It gets a little drawn out and droning the last few tracks, but it is a nice little LP for some gloomy days. I’ve really enjoyed the percussion that Thom has brought to songs recently. There’s almost a 90s hip-hop aspect to it. Thom got the beat that twist a song just right. I can’t think of anyone else that hits the same vibe these songs have. That’s a good thing.

Kendrick Lamar // i

Kendrick is back with a breezy new joint that is a full 180 from where he was at on good kid, m.A.A.d city. It’s got some Outkasty vibe to it. And there is nothing ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever wrong with that.
